Review of the Day
Transfers
Young Leicester City winger Harvey Barnes has moved out on season-long loan, just after signing a new four year contract with the Foxes. The 20 year old will be spending the season with West Bromwich Albion, who needed to replace James McClean.
Charles Vernan has returned to Grimsby Town on loan for the season. The young forward had spent the second half of last season there on loan from Derby County.
Striker Dominic Telford has left Stoke City on a free transfer to join Bury on a free transfer.
Free agent forward David McGoldrick has joined Sheffield United on a free transfer. The 30 year old, released by Ipswich Town in the summer, had played a couple of trial matches to earn his contract.
Bradford City have loaned striker Shay McCartan to Lincoln City for the season.
Free agent Netherlands international keeper Tim Krul has signed for Norwich City, after being released by Brighton & Hove Albion at the end of last season.
Liverpool youngster Shamal George has joined near neighbours Tranmere Rovers on loan until January. The 20 year old goalkeeper had played the second half of a friendly to earn his loan move.
Bolton Wanderers have added free agent midfielder Marc Wilson after the 30 year old was released by Sunderland.
Exeter City have made a double signing. Midfielder Lee Martin has joined on a free from Gillingham, while Jimmy Oates has arrived from non-league Hereford, after a trial.
Marcus Browne has joined Oxford United on a season long loan from West Ham United.
Stoke City have added another average winger in the shape of Tom Ince. The 26 year old has arrived from Huddersfield Town for the ridiculously over-inflated price of £10m.
Fulham have strengthened their team yet further with the arrival of Spanish keeper Fabri from Besiktas for a fee of £5m.
Bournemouth have completed the £10m signing of Spanish full-back Diego Rico from Leganes.
113 cap Portugese international Joao Moutinho has left AS Monaco to sign for Wolverhampton Wanderers for £5m.
Brazilian winger Richarlison has joined Everton for an initial fee of around £40m. Add ons could take the 21 year old's transfer from Watford to £50m.
Former incumbent on Liverpool's injury table, Italian midfielder Alberto Aquilani, has been released by Spanish second tier side UD Las Palmas.
Bordeaux's young Brazilian winger with a yuppy name, Malcom, is set to sign for La Liga leviathans Barcelona after they stepped in at the last moment. Malcom had been all set to join AS Roma, who had agreed a deal to sign him, before Barca swooped in at the last second, paying a fee of £36.9m. The move was such a shock that it even caught out Malcom's mother, who had flown to Roma ahead of him to wait for him to arrive, only for Barca to jump in while she was in mid-air. Roma's sporting director Monchi has admitted that the Serie A club are looking into legal action against Bordeaux.
Sweden's World Cup keeper Robin Olsen has joined AS Roma for £7.65m from FC Copenhagen.
Brazilian winger Nathan has moved to Brazilian side Atletico Mineiro from Chelsea on loan.
Crystal Palace's Polish defender Jaroslaw Jach has joined Turkish side Rizespor on loan.
Grzegorz Krychowiak, who spent last season on loan with West Bromwich Albion from Paris Saint-Germain, has joined Lokomotiv Moscow on loan from PSG.

Tuchel Looks To Ensure PSG Players Behave
Paris Saint-Germain's new boss Thomas Tuchel has moved to ensure his players behave themselves on nights out. The German has, as well as banning pasta after matches, fast food, sugary foods and fizzy drinks, been spending his time visiting night clubs that are frequented by PSG players and getting to know the owners and staff of the clubs to ensure he knows when his players are out and about.
Casillas Backs Karius Again
Former Real Madrid keeper Iker Casillas has defended under-fire Liverpool goalkeeper Lorus Karius with a video of his own bloopers, including errors he has made in Champions League and international games. The video was captioned with: "Behind each one of us is a person. Raise your hand whoever has never made a mistake. Learning from mistakes makes us stronger and accepting them more human. #Ialsomakemistakes."
