QPR Agree FFP Settlement With EFL

QPR have finally come to an agreement with the English Football League over their breach of Financial Fair Play rules in the 2013/14 season. The near £42m (sort of) fine will not be taken into account when calculating QPR's spend in coming seasons, one of the key points the two sides had been disputing. They will pay £17m to the league, £3m for legal costs over a period of ten years. The balance, £21.965m, the owners will cover by converting outstanding loans to the club into shares. Ikeme has been with Wolves since he was 14 years old, making more than 200 appearances and was named as Nigeria's 24th squad member during the World Cup after being ruled out of playing with his illness.
