Everton completed one more deadline day move, that was revealed late, when they picked up centre back Kurt Zouma on loan from Chelsea. Leaving the Toffess on loan was Croatian midfielder Nikola Vlasic, who has joined CSKA Moscow.

Nottingham Forest finally got a deal done that they had been chasing for a while. Former Leeds United full-back Sam Byram has moved to Forest on loan from West Ham United.

Aston Villa have allowed goalkeeper Jed Steer to join Charlton Athletic on a season-long loan.

The best named footballer on earth, Max Power, has joined Sunderland, on loan with a view to a permanent deal, from Wigan Athletic.

Bristol City forward Shawn McCoulsky has signed for Southend United on a season-long loan deal.

Elliot Hodge, the son of former England midfielder Steve Hodge, has joined Burton Albion on a free transfer. The 22 year old's deal will keep him with the Brewers until January, following his summer release from Notts County.

Lee Evans has joined Wigan Athletic on loan with an obligation to buy in January. The Sheffield United midfielder has three caps for Wales.

Chelsea have allowed Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi to go out on loan once more. Valencia will have the forward's services for the season after paying a loan fee of £2.7m.

Genoa have paid a loan fee of £4.5m to take young striker Andrea Favilli on loan from Juventus.

Former Sunderland midfielder Alfred N'Diaye has joined Malaga on loan from Villareal. The 28 year old spent time with Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan last season.

Former African Footballer Of The Year Gets 2 Year Ban

Kalusha Bwalya, a former president of the FA of Zambia and current Confederation of African Football executive committee member, has been banned by FIFA from all football-related activities for 2 years. Bwalya had been investigated over links to banned Qatari official Mohammed Bin Hammam and was found guilty of accepting a gift violating FIFA's code of ethics. Oyston Offers Belokon Blackpool Shares

The battle for ownership of League One Blackpool seems to be entering the final stages as current owner Owen Oyston offers to sell his shares to Valeri Belokon. As usual with the Oystons, things are not quite as they seem as Owen offered the sale via an open letter, while knowing that Belokon is currently disqualified from club ownership by the Football League's 'Owners' and Directors' Test'. Oyston claimed in a statement on the website that Belokon is in negotiations with him over the ownership of the club, as well as making an offer to use his shareholding to offset the significant debts he owes to the Latvian. However, Blackpool fans are not able to breath easy yet as the fact Oyston is making the offer via an open letter for all to read suggests he is playing on the fact Belokon is unable to own a club currently in order to use it against him to continue with his hold over the club. Otherwise there is no reason to make any details public if negotiations are ongoing.

Croatian World Cup Star Signs New Contract

Despite being linked with a move this summer, Croatian international winger Ante Rebic, a key player in Croatia's run to the World Cup final, has extended his contract with current club Eintracht Frankfurt. The lightning quick 24 year old scored a brace for Frankfurt in their 3-1 win over Bayern Munich in the DFB Cup final, to earn himself instant hero status in the city. Frankfurt's sporting director Fredi Bobic said: "Ante is certainly one of the most positive things to emerge from the World Cup and we don't have to pretend that this did not attract some interest. It says a lot about Eintracht Frankfurt that we've managed to keep hold of a player, who can definitely now be regarded as a shooting star. Ante has attracted interest from several top clubs and he had one or two more lucrative offers, so the fact he's decided to stay with us proves that he has the Eagles in his heart and that we're heading in the right direction with our plans, and it also shows that we've taken a step forward economically, by being able to keep hold of such a top player."
