Bielsa Believes Leeds Have Plenty Of Energy For Promotion Push

After Leeds United suffered their 5th defeat in 10 games questions have been asked of Marcelo Bielsa's tactics, as media figures blame his high energy press for the teams drop off in results. Bielsa has backed his players to continue their pursuit of a return to the Premier League and denies that the team is struggling physically to cope with his tactics. Bielsa said: "What our team has shown in every game is that we have an excess of energy. If you look at the figures you can see that if there is a problem that this team has, it is not a lack of energy. It's not an opinion, you just have to look at the figures to draw your own conclusions."

Leeds, Bolton And Parkinson Face FA Charges

Leeds United and Bolton Wanderers have been charged by the FA over an on pitch fracas between the two teams during a Championship match between the two on 23rd February. Both clubs are accused of failing to control their players. Bolton manager Phil Parkinson was sent to the stands after the incident and faces a misconduct charge in relation to his sending off.

Russian Side Offer Refund If They Lose

FC Ufa will welcome Dynamo Moscow to their stadium on Sunday, with fans assured of a win, or their money back! Ufa are so certain of victory that they have not only offered to refund tickets, in the case of defeat, but they will also, "as a bonus", offer free tickets to the next home game as well. UFA are two places below Dynamo, and are currently 3rd from bottom of the Russian Premier League.

FIFA Begin Sala Investigation

FIFA have stepped into investigate the Emiliano Sala transfer to Cardiff City after the Welsh club failed to make the first scheduled payment to Nantes, despite the French side giving them a 7 day extension to the deadline. Cardiff have continued to claim that they will be "honourable" with Nantes, while withholding payment as they try to find any way of weaseling out of actually paying the money they owe. Sala was confirmed as registered to Cardiff before his tragic end in a plane crash, but the South Wales club have suddenly decided that there is something wrong with the deal that they agreed as the insurance will not cover the payments.

Poch Admits The Blatantly Obvious

Mauricio Pochettino believes it is now impossible for Tottenham Hotspur to win the Premier League this season. With a manager that is even more Spursy than the team itself, it does not take a genius to figure out that they were never likely to win the league even if Manchester City and Liverpool were not in the running, as they showed in Leicester City's title year. Pochettino has now accepted the inevitable, as Spurs never even managed to hit the target once in a 2-0 defeat to Chelsea. Pochettino said: "After Burnley I said it was difficult, and tonight makes it impossible to fight Man City and Liverpool. Only they can win the league - we must fight to win games and to be fair."

FA Investigates Sancho Claims

The Football Association is investigating the claims made recently in German investigative journal Der Spiegel that Manchester City made an illegal payment of £200,000 to Jadon Sancho's agent when the player was just 14 years old. Agents are not allowed to represent players under the age of 16. The claims originated from hacked material released by Football Leaks and have been part of a series of claims made against Man City, none of which have been denied. City have instead just attacked the revelations as an attempt to damage the club's reputation, while refusing to comment or refute any of the allegations made against them.
