Morocco Replace Hamdallah

Morocco have been forced to replace striker Abderrazak Hamdallah after injury ruled him out of AFCON. He has been replaced by a defender in the shape of Abdelkarim Baadi.

Collison Takes MLS Role

Former West Ham United midfielder Jack Collison, who was forced to retire early due to knee problems, is leaving his coaching role at the Hammers' youth academy to take a role with, it is believed, Atlanta United. Collison said: "For me to step away from an incredible role, it had to be special. An opportunity has come up overseas that will give me the chance to discover a completely different culture, and a chance to give my family a new and exciting life experience at the same time."

Baggies Appoint Bilic

As expected West Bromwich Albion have chosen to appoint former West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic as their new head coach. The 50 year old takes over from caretaker Jimmy Shan who succeeded Darren Moore in March, after Moore was sacked because the board believed it would fail to win promotion under Moore.

Allegri To Take Sabbatical

After leaving Juventus last month Massimiliano Allegri has said he intends to take a year off from football. Allegri won 5 Serie A titles in a row in his five years in charge of Juve having previously won the league with AC Milan in 2011. After being linked with a return to Milan, Allegri has said: "I'm going to take a year off to recharge the batteries and take my personal life back in hand. The last 16 years have felt like being in a spin-dryer."

Sarri Set For Juve

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri is set to take over from Allegri as head coach of Juventus after a deal was agreed in principle between the two clubs. It seems an odd choice as Sarri is heavily disliked amidst Juve support, which had been his major issue at Chelsea, the lack of support from the fans.

Hazard Presentation Marred By Mbappe Chants

Eden Hazard's unveiling at the Bernabeu, where he said he wanted to become a Galactico, was marred by chants from Real Madrid fans calling for the signing of Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain. They could be audibly heard chanting "queremos Mbappe", which roughly translates to "we want Mbappe". It seems some people are never happy!
