Contracts

Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Seny Dieng has been given a new 4 year deal.

Transfers

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes has admitted that defender Scott McKenna is close to leaving. McInnes said: "We're close, the clubs have been speaking. From our point of view, I prepared for a team without Scott in it yesterday. It's seems to be edging a bit closer to the clubs agreeing."

Roma's Turkish winger Cengiz Under has signed for Leicester City on loan for the season with the option to make the deal permanent. The Foxes have paid a £2.7m loan fee.

Osasuna have signed Spanish winger Jony on loan from Lazio.

Elche have paid £4.5m for Raul Guti from Real Zaragoza.

Israeli forward Eran Zahavi has joined PSV Eindhoven on a free transfer from Guangzhou R&F.

Bari have taken Leonardo Candellone on loan from Napoli.

Bologna have loaned Gabriele Corbo to Ascoli.

Huddersfield Town have signed Carel Eiting on loan from Ajax.

Rennes head coach Julien Stephan has said that goalkeeper Edouard Mendy will be moving from the French club to sign for Chelsea. Stephan said: "We're looking for a goalkeeper, it's no secret. Edouard will certainly leave us to join Chelsea. In this position, we need to get someone in very quickly."

Farke Warns Suitors Off Aarons

After Norwich City full-back Max Aarons was linked with Barcelona, head coach Daniel Farke has ruled out selling him, even for £100m. Farke told the BBC: "I wouldn't sell Max Aarons, not for £100m, because he's too important for us, but that's quite normal. If there is a crazy offer then of course the key people in the club have to make the decision but I am quite relaxed. He was touted with each and every club, but it's the same, we don't comment on any rumours and speculation, he's our player and will be our player and it's important to have him. It's not a surprise he's linked with the best clubs in the world because he's such a top talented player, thank God we have developed him and we want to develop him further on and hopefully this will last pretty long."

Pep Needs To Earn New Deal

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has said that he wants to stay at the club but needs to "deserve" a new contract. His current deal expires at the end of the season. Guardiola said: "I would love to stay longer here. It is a place I love to be but I have to deserve it. This club achieved standards in the last decade but we have to maintain that. They didn't tell me you have to do this or that, they told me to play. But I know the standards of the club and if I don't achieve the standards, I probably don't deserve so I have to win to extend my contract."

United Looking For More Signings

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said that Manchester United are "working hard" to bring new signings to the club before the transfer window closes next month. Solskjaer said: "Of course I want players in the building that we want to work with and who want to be a part of it, and who want to be here. You need the quality on the pitch. You also need the personal qualities but you also really want to be here, and you need to show that you want to be here. That's really important for us as a group, that we move forward. It's not as big a pool as for other clubs because being part of Man United and being good enough for Man United is one thing, then you've got another club who probably want to keep that type of player of that quality. My focus is us, of course. You see other clubs, what they do. They put a challenge up for us. Our response has to be results. That's the response. We can be best at the things that don't cost anything - the culture here, the training, the coaching, getting fitter. But, yeah, we're looking at a small pool of players that can add to the quality of our team and let's see what we can do. The club are working hard and I understand that they are working hard."

Juve Rule Out Suarez

Juventus director Fabio Paratici has ruled out signing Luis Suarez from Barcelona in the transfer window as the Uruguayan is unable to get an Italian passport in time. Paratici said: "Luis Suarez is not on our list. He's not a target for Juventus. He'll not have the Italian passport during the transfer window so we can't sign him. We considered Suarez as an option but he was not close to join."

Samp Have Comp For Candreva

Carlo Osti, the sporting director at Sampdoria, has confirmed the club is interested in signing Italian full-back Antonio Candreva from Inter Milan, but admits they have competition for the veteran. Osti said: "Antonio Candreva is a player we like a lot, but we're not the only club interested in him. It is up to him and his agent to decide between the various offers and we're waiting to see what happens. Due to our interest in Candreva, the work to sign Răzvan Marin has slowed, as his arrival depends on who we get in our wide roles, which also affects the midfielders."
