Contracts

Newport County midfielder Matty Dolan has signed a 2 year deal.

Michael Cooper has signed a new contract that keeps the goalkeeper at Plymouth Argyle until 2024. The 21 year old has just been named as Argyle's Young Player of the Year.

Ajax's much-coveted head coach Erik ten Hag has extended his contract to run until 2023.

 


Transfers

Barnsley's on-loan striker Daryl Dike has extended his loan to cover the play-offs. The 20 year old is on loan from Major League Soccer side Orlando City and scored 9 goals in 17 league appearances to help Barnsley to qualify for the Championship play-offs.

Cardiff City manager Mick McCarthy has admitted that they will need to sell before they can buy players.

IFK Gothenborg have agreed to sign veteran Swedish left-back Oscar Wendt on a free from Borussia Moenchengladbach in the summer and Marcus Berg, another veteran Swede, from Krasnodar, also on a free in the summer.

Manchester City have paid a fee of £4.5m for 18 year old Argentine winger Dario Sarmiento to join at the end of the season Estudiantes.

Japanese winger Keita Endo is to join Union Berlin from Yokohama F. Marinos for next season. Also joining Union Berlin for next season is Paul Jaeckel from Greuther Furth on a free.

FC Nantes have agreed to pay Fiorentina £6.75m for young goalkeeper Alban Lafont to join them in the summer.

Veteran Polish full-back Lukasz Piszczek is to join Goczalkowice on a free transfer from Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season.

Braga have paid a fee of £1.35m to sign Portugese winger Iuri Medeiros from 1.FC Nuremberg for next season.

Austrian left-back Emir Karic is to make a free transfer to SV Darmstadt 98 from SCR Altach at the end of the season.

Sassuolo are to pay £14.4m to sign Hamed Junior Traore for next season from Empoli.

Experienced French forward Valere Germain will be leaving Olympique Marseille in the summer at the end of his contract.

1. FC Koln have agreed to sign Austrian midfielder Dejan Ljubicic from Rapid Vienna on a free transfer for next season.

Hellas Verona have agreed deals to buy Antonin Barak for £5.4m from Udinese, Federico Ceccherini for £2.7m from Fiorentina and Giangiacomo Magnani from Sassuolo for £3.6m, at the end of the season.

Christian Walton is to be released by Brighton & Hove Albion at the end of his contract.

Exeter City's experienced forward Nicky Ajose will be a free agent in the summer.

Everton are set to release Muhamed Besic in the summer.

Joseph Marie Minala will leave Lazio at the end of his contract.

Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero is set for release in the summer.

Norwich City are to sign Greek left-back Dimitrios Giannoulis from PAOK Salonika for £6.75m ahead of next season.

VfB Stuttgart are to release veteran midfielder Gonzalo Castro in the summer. They have also agreed a deal to sign 17 year Turkish midfielder Omer Beyaz on a free transfer from Fenerbahce.

Sassuolo are to sign Maxime Lopez from Marseille for £1.8m in the summer.

Inter Miami are to sign experienced Dutch keeper Nick Marsman on a free transfer from Feyenoord at the end of the Dutch season.

RB Leipzig have agreed to pay AS Monaco £13.5m for Benjamin Heinrichs. They are also paying Racing Strasbourg the same price for Mohamed Simakan. Ajax youngster Brian Brobbey will be joining RBL on a free.

Chelsea have set Olivier Giroud for release in the summer.

Former Burnley midfielder Steven Defour, currently playing for KV Mechelen, is to retire at the end of the season at the age of 33.

Troyes are to sign teenage forward Mykola Kukharevych from Rukh Lviv in the next transfer window.

AS Roma are to pay £8.1m to signed Roger Ibanez from Atalanta in the summer.

Juventus have agreed to pay FC Schalke 04 £16.65m for American midfielder Weston McKennie.

Borussia Dortmund full-back Jeremy Toljan is to join Sassuolo at the end of the season for a fee of £3.15m.

Bayer Leverkusen's Bender twins, Sven and Lars, are retiring at the end of the season.

Former Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United midfielder Nabil Bentaleb is to be released by FC Schalke 04 at the end of the season.

 


Injury Round-Up

Celtic have been boosted by the return to fitness of winger James Forrest.

 


Managerial Changes

While Nicolas Dupuis (see below) is suspended, Eric Rabesandratana is to take charge of the Madagascar national team.

 


Disciplinary Charges

Madagascar have suspended their head coach Nicolas Dupuis without pay. The Malagasy Football Federation said that the Frenchman spent more time on commercial interests for personal publicity than he did managing the team and accused him of "neglecting your main role of managing and your duty of supporting Malagasy football".
