Birmingham City's former Chelsea youngster Neil Etheridge has been taken to hospital for treatment due to coronavirus.

 


Managerial Changes

Former Aston Villa and Manchester United striker Dion Dublin has been appointed as a director of Cambridge United, another of his former clubs.

Benfica's president Luis Filipe Vieira has resigned the post. Vieira has been arrested and detained on suspicion of tax fraud and money laundering.

 


Disciplinary Charges

Oldham Athletic have made a complaint to police after one of their directors was racially abused at a pre-season friendly.

Police have cleared Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths of criminality over alleged inappropriate social media messages.

Portsmouth are investigating after images circulated on social media which are said to be screen grabs from a group chat for the club's under-18 side, which has a series of racially offensive terms and images. The chat is claimed to be straight after England lost the Euro 2020 final to Italy.
