God bless anyone that can still be positive regarding the Liverpool FC team or make any excuses for what we have seen week in week out since the season started until now, with now being practically March. To measure how bad we are just think of the worst and times that by 10. It gets more baffling every week. I honestly haven't seen a top 2 side in any European league in recent history because Liverpool and City were the top two sides in the league for years, drop off so badly in such a short space of time than how Liverpool have.

Where to start - Milner and Hendo should never start a match together. We or should I say some of us have said this repeatedly many times over the course of the season but here we are. If you have to play any of them it's either one or the other. To put things into perspective, those two would not start a match together in any top 6 side across any of the top European leagues.

Regarding Jota, he has to be sold this summer. Offers nothing when he ain't scoring. He is nothing but a poacher and ain't starting ahead of Nunez and Gakpo centrally. He aLeo offers nothing out right or out left as he has zero link up play with no pace to speak of. Plus we could fetch a decent transfer fee for him.

I'm one of Trent's biggest supporters but he is making it hard to defend him with every match. Yes he gets no protection and yes the system is leaving him exposed as he is told to push forward. But man what's happen to him? It's like his concentration levels have taken a 1 year sabbatical. As for Naby, I won't even waste my breath on him. Only good thing is his contract is up in the summer.

Still baffling how we can be getting worse as the season goes on? You would also think that getting hammered 5-2 at home on the biggest stage in Europe would be enough to get a reaction the following game. Well, you can think again. Zero reaction against Palace and overall just flat. I thought I was baffled months ago but every week I find myself even more baffled. Everything and I mean everything is just. baffling! Actually this season could be summed up in one word and that's 'baffling'.

We need a director of football and fast. Their first job is to tell Klopp to forget the thought of even thinking about extending the contracts of Milner or Bobby. Next job is to move players on and start working on scouting young unknown players to improve us but also offer resale value. Then we can focus on the main area that needs addressing and that's the midfield.

We also need a versatile forward if we move Bobby and Jota on. Someone who can play across the front 3 and someone who has pace. Then we need a young good defender who has the potential to become world class and can take over from VVD when that time comes. Obvious choice is Gvardiol who I would love but a director of football would be able to find someone else if he ends up at Madrid. Players that should be gone as soon as the transfer window opens are Jota, Fabino, Bobby, Milner, Ox, Jones, Gomez, Matip, Phillips, Kelleher (fetch a decent fee). And to think top 4 is there for the taking but we will do our best to screw that up!
