Football News: Hopefully 777 can sort out how Everton is being run

I suggest all of you just stop reading news now or Twitter regarding Everton and 777. No-one really knows anything unless you are at the centre of the club.

For me the club is going to be sold to 777. They will easily get the go-ahead from the FA and EPL as they did do in Spain and Germany. Whether they invest in the club in terms of money doesn't make any difference to me, I want them to make us self sustainable. They won't be pushing us to win trophies, but if they can sort out how the club is run, I'll take that.

Plenty has been said of other clubs they have. Genoa were relegated the season they took over. They lost 18 games. The season before that 777 were not in control they lost 16 games, so the club was already struggling. They got promoted the season after and brought in a decent amount of players and have won 1 drew 2 lost 1 this year.

Vasco Da Gama were in Serie B when they took over last year and got promoted. This year they are struggling in 18th but they were the 4th best team in Serie B so it's understandable they aren't winning the league.

Red Star are in the third tier of the French league and have been for 5 years. However, since 777 took over, they are top of that league so far this season and started off well.

Liege finish 6th last year during which 777 took over. The season before they finished 14th so they've been yo-yoing the past couple of season. This year they haven't started off great. However, there has been little money investment over the past 4 years in the club, 3 years before 777 took over. This year you would argue they signed better players, mainly from the EPL.

They appear to be a group that don't invest money in players from their own pocket, but they do seem to get the clubs moving in the right direction off its own back. That's probably why most fans hate them and ours will be the same. Me personally, though I just want us to be run right of our own steam, otherwise we're going to have season after season like this. If we survive this year, we will only be the same next year.

I'm not saying 777 are the investors we want or that they are good investors, but looking into how the clubs are performing, I don't see they have contributed to their demise. They aren't buying Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man City or Bayern Munich. They are buying struggling historic clubs and trying to restore them from what I see.

Red Star is the 4th oldest club in France and founding member of Ligue 1, Vasco has huge historical significance especially in its societal breakthroughs in Brazil, Liege have been in their top flight for over 100 years, Genoa was originally set up by the English to represent us overseas, mainly in Cricket (you couldn't even join the club if you were Italian!). The list goes on.

I can't speak on aviation as I don't know anything about it but from football I do see that they are not what footy fans want but give me boring normal 8th to 12th, at least for a couple of seasons to reduce my blood pressure. Moshiri and Usmanov millions didn't work and put us in huge amounts of debt. So what can be worse? I hope we never find out.
