Hajduk Split's star player Tino-Sven Susic has made a come and get me plea to Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan.

Despite the fall from grace in recent years of Serie A, the Croatian prospect has admitted that Inter are the club he dreams of playing for.

"I couldn't wish for anything else than Inter," said the midfielder, as reported today by the Gazzetta dello Sport.

"I supported Inter as a child, and they purchased Ronaldo. A club with that kind of history is a dream, never mind when they're being coached by [Roberto] Mancini.

"It would be even better than Paris Saint-Germain, where my uncle Safet used to play. Besides I like Serie A better, I used to watch it all the time as a kid.

"My idol is [Zinedine] Zidane, but I don't dare compare myself with him. Every team faces a crisis sooner or later, but I'm sure they'll come back among the elite of the world.

"It's true that Serie A used to be the best, but it's still one of the top tournaments in Europe.

"I'd like to join Inter as soon as possible, but it depends on my agents, not on me. And the important thing is getting there. Until there's a signature on a contract, anything can happen."

Hajduk's sporting director Goran Vucevic spoke about their willingness to sell Susic yesterday.

"Susic is our best player, we will sell if a good offer arrives," he told reporters this week. "But we want to avoid any discounts, his price is €5m."
