Football News: Gerrard confirms MLS is next

Steven Gerrard has confirmed that he will be joining the MLS at the end of the season.

The Liverpool legend, famous for blockbuster goals at vital moments, has recently rejected the offer of a new contract with his hometown club, now he has confirmed that the USA will be his destination.

It looks likely that his next club, which will only be the second of his career, will be LA Galaxy, who have won the MLS title a number of times in recent years.

Galaxy have a designated player slot open, following the retirement of former Everton player Landon Donovan, which will allow them to pay him any salary they wish, outside of the salary cap limitations.
