3. Ipswich want Hyam to sign a new deal
Ipswich Town boss Mick McCarthy has revealed that the club are in talks with midfielder Luke Hyam over a new contract. The 24 year old is out of contract in the summer, but the club has a 12 month extension option which McCarthy has confirmed the club are going to take up. The 24 year old spent some time at Rotherham United on loan this season, but has become part of the first team on return, playing eight times. "We've got a (12-month) option on him (in the summer) and clearly I'm going to take that up," said McCarthy. "We are in negotiations with him about a new contract. Whether he's happy with what we've offered him I don't know - Marcus (Evans) is dealing with it."

5. Hamilton sign Diaby
Hamilton Academical have moved to sign a replacement for outgoing French striker Christian Nade. Nade moved to Scottish Championship side Dumbarton in the January window. Hamilton have added 26 year old striker Oumar Diaby as his replacement. Diaby left Levski Sofia, six months into a 2 year contract with the Bulgarian outfit and has joined Accies on a free. Nade himself had only joined in the summer, but only scored 3 goals in his 18 appearances before moving on. Young full back Scott McMann has also left Accies, this time on loan until the end of the season to League Two side Clyde.

6. Neymar is to stand trial in Brazil
Brazilian forward Neymar Jr, fresh from court in Spain over his move to Barcelona, is now set to go on trial in his homeland. Sao Paulo's state prosecution has recommended that Neymar be charged for tax evasion and forgery. Neymar Jr, his father Neymar Sr, current Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu and former Barca president Sandro Rosell are all accused of evading taxes and misrepresentation in order to "abolish taxes owed to the IRS of Brazil". A judge now has to decide whether to take the case forward. The prosecution's case does not just revolve around irregularities during his 2013 transfer from Santos to Barcelona, it also refers to alleged fraudulent use of Neymar's image rights dating back as far as 2006.

7. Martinez takes Chinese cash
Atletico Madrid swooped to get Jackson Martinez in the summer from Porto, paying a large fee for the 29 year old, but he struggled scoring just two goals in 15 appearances and just six months later he is on the move again. This time the 29 year old has made a big money, 42m Euro, move to Chinese Super League team Ghuangzhou Evergrande. Martinez told Atletico's official website: "Thanks to my teammates, the coaching staff and the people working at the club for the trust they had in me and the effort they made so I could come here. It has been an honour for me to be a part of this club, but I think the time has come to start another stage in my career. We have talked a lot in the last days and we have agreed that this is the best for all of us."

Flop signing Falcao has been left out of Chelsea's Champions League squad as rumours abound that he will be heading off to China before their window closes on 26 February. One goal in eleven appearances and struggles with injuries are the sum total of his season. New loan striker Alexandre Pato has been named in the squad.
Champions League Squad in full:
Asmir Begovic, Branislav Ivanovic, Cesc Fabregas, Kurt Zouma, Baba Rahman, Oscar, Eden Hazard, Pato, John Mikel Obi, Thibaut Courtois, Bertrand Traore, Kenedy, Pedro, Loic Remy, Diego Costa, Matt Miazga, Nemanja Matic, Willian, Gary Cahill, John Terry, Jamal Blackman, Cesar Azpilicueta.

10. Filipe Luis gets 3 match ban
Atletico Madrid have lost their former Chelsea left back Filipe Luis for three games after he was banned for his dangerous challenge on Barcelona star Lionel Messi. Luis was one of two Atleti players to receive their marching orders during the match. Atletico have announced an intention to challenge what they claim is an excessive suspension. "Similar incidents ought to be judged in the same manner and have the same punishment," said Atletico sporting director Jose Luis Caminero. "It cannot be that an identical incident that is reported in exactly the same way in the referee's report is given a one-game ban and our player Filipe is given three."
