Football News: Liverpool FC loan report 13 Feb 2018
Good Afternoon Redmen,
Hope all is well and you are counting the minutes like I am to get home for tonights action. Pancakes!
Oh and some small London team is going to lose in Italy.
Anyway, enough chitchat, now for the Liverpool FC loan report 13 Feb 2018.
I waited until today in the hope that I would have a good report on Sturridge. Heres the report, 2 touches, one sprint.
The poor bloke done his hamstring again and was subbed off in the 3rd minute as West Brom lost away to Chelsea. They are now 7 points from Safety.
Arroyo joined Liverpool in January and immediately went on loan to Mallorca on an 18 month loan deal. Mallorca drew 0-0 at the weekend.
However a bit of digging informs me that Arroyo did not feature and is likely to start of in the Mallorca B with the aim to move into the firsts next season.
Markovic was not in the squad as Anderlecht lost 2-0 at the weekend.
He banged them in for fun for the u23's, now he's banging them in for fun at Hull!
Harry Wilson on his first start got amongst the goals as Hull beat Forest 2-0.
He also won a penalty in the first half which was missed and according to Opta was man of the match.
Ojo returned to training this week but was not in the Fulham squad as they drew 1-1 with Bolton.
It was an eventful day for Ejaria. He started in Sunderlands midfield away to Bristol and Sunderland found themselves 3-0 after 37 minutes.
However the story does not end there as bottom of the table Sunderland mounted a stunning comeback of Istanbul proportions to draw the game 3-3.
Ejaria played for 85 minutes.
Awoniyi started and arguably had the best game to date for REM as he scored 2 and assisted a 3rd against Standard Liege.
He must of thought he had won it when he put REM 3-2 up in the 80th, only for their hearts to be broken in the 90th with two late goals meaning they lost 4-3!
Allan was an unused sub as Apollon won 2-0 to keep the pressure on top spot.
Origi started as a sub and came on in the 71st with Wolfsburg 2-1 down.
It was game over in the 72nd as they went 3-1 down and that is how the game stayed.
Chirivella played for 80 minutes as Willem II lost 1-0 to Heracles.
The defeat leaves them 3 points above the drop zone.
Randall came on in the 80th minute as Hearts beat St Johnstone 3-0.
Keita played for 80 mins and scored the second as RBL beat Augsburg 2-0.
He scored an 8.2 on Opta and seems to of hit form at the business end of the season.
Whelan then made his first League Two start on Saturday, and helped Yeovil to a clean sheet and a point after a 0-0 draw at Crewe Alexandra. The defender picked up a booking, and played the whole game.
Virtue was not involved as Notts County lost 1-0 to Barnet.
For each great comeback in football there is a team that capitulates (us reds know the feeling) unfortunately at the weekend is was Kent and his new team Bristol.
After assisting the 3rd goal Kent and Bristol must of thought they had the game won, like Kaka and Maldini in 2005.
But Ejaria and Sunderland had other ideas! You live and learn Kent.
Grujic played for 80 minutes as Cardiff got a hard fought point away to Millwall. The draw sees Cardiff drop to 4th, 4 points off automatic promotion
And that's your lot redmen.
