Bolton Deny Wages Claims

The chairman of Bolton Wanderers denies claims from the players, who have gone on strike, that wages are unpaid. Ken Anderson has said that all but one player has been paid their salary, but admits bonuses and 'loyalty fees' have not been paid yet. Anderson has hit back at the players, saying he will not be bullied or blackmailed. Not to sound confused, but if you owe someone money and you fail to pay it, are they not within their rights to take further action, such as strikes? It is not bullying to ask you to keep within the terms of the contracts that you signed off on. Anderson is busy trying to get the fans onside by blaming the players, but the fault is all on his side for not honouring his contractual obligations.
