O'Kane Suffers Double Leg Break

On-loan midfielder has suffered a broken tibia and fibula just 13 minutes after coming on as a substitute for Luton Town. The 28 year old Republic of Ireland international will have surgery before returning to parent club Leeds United for rehabilitation. A Luton statement read: "We would like to wish Eunan a speedy recovery and thank him for his efforts during his brief spell at the club, during which he has made a big impression on everyone he has met at Kenilworth Road."

Sarri Looking For 30+ Goals From Hazard

Following Eden Hazard's weekend hat-trick for Chelsea against Cardiff City, manager Maurizio Sarri has told Hazard that he does not need to get so involved in the build up play but to save his energy for the final third. Sarri also claims the Belgian superstar is the best player in Europe. Sarri said: "I thought he was one of the best players in Europe, but now I change my mind that he is the best. I think Hazard can improve more. I think that he can spend less energy than now at 50 or 60 metres to the oppositions goal. No (not defending), when we have the ball in our half and he touches the ball five or six times, it shows he spends a lot of energies, and can have more enegy in the last 25 metres. He can score 30 or 35 goals. I think he can do it, he can do it. I told him in the last two days because Eden only arrived two days ago after the international teams I prefer to give the players one day off. I have spoke to him in the last two days, I told him for me he can score 40 goals. But spend less energy away from the goal and play in the last 25 metres."

Tuchel Best Coach In The World Says Man Who Appointed Him When He Couldn't Get Guardiola

Despite only turning to Thomas Tuchel as a back up option, Paris Saint-Germain's president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is now claiming he is the best in the world. Though he did also say the same about Neymar and Kylian Mbappe being the best players in the world, so clearly he is just deluded or has a tongue stuffed firmly in his cheek. Al-Khelaifi said in an interview with Telefoot: "Paris has the players and the coach to do something there [at Anfield]. We have the best coach in the world." Though I might just be misinterpreting his words and he is in fact referring to the coach the team travel in....

Bayern Suffer Double Injury Blow

Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich's win over Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday has come at a huge cost as they are set to be without Rafinho and Corentin Tolisso for an extended period. Rafinha suffered ankle ligament damage when winger Karim Bellarabi lunged in, earning himself a red card. Rafinha is ruled out for at least a month. Tolisso could be set to miss the rest of the season as it was discovered his injury was as bad as first feared and the France midfielder has torn his anterior cruciate ligament. The pair have joined Kingsley Coman, Mats Hummels and Leon Goretzka on the sidelines, though only Coman is also a longer term injury. Things are getting so desperate there that Renato Sanches even made the bench, though even two injuries were not enough to get him on the pitch.

Liverpool Sign Non-League Keeper

Liverpool have moved to add another goalkeeper to their ranks, along with Alisson Becker, who they signed for a then world record fee from AS Roma. This time it is young Guyana international Kai McKenzie-Lyle from Barnet after a trial spell. The 20 year old had only managed to make one appearance for Barnet before earning the move. The youngster began in Tottenham Hotspur's academy before moving to Barnet at the age of 14. He has 3 caps for Guyana and already has a goal to his name after scoring on his debut against Suriname in a 3-2 defeat.
