Levein Hits Out At Hypocrite McInnes

After Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes dismissed Heart of Midlothian manager Derek McInnes's claims that "big decisions" helped the Dons beat Hearts 2-0 on Saturday, Levein has accused him of talking "tripe". Levein said: "It's double standards. I've got articles there where he has complained at times about the officials already this season. This is the same Derek McInnes that was on the phone to me three weeks ago crying his eyes out about decisions that he got in the Celtic game and the sending off against Rangers. He even said to me, and it's funny, he has stopped complaining about referees because he felt he got more decisions going for him when he didn't complain." Levein then claimed that McInnes tried to get Steven Naismith sent off: "I've got respect for every manager in the league, but when it comes down to the tripe he came out with after the game on Saturday... I don't think there was anything in it and I don't think anybody I've spoken to did, but Derek tried to get him sent off. I saw him."

Gerrard Rules Out Morelos Sale

Colombian striker Alfredo Morelos has already scored 19 goals this season for Rangers, leading to links with clubs all over Europe, but manager Steven Gerrard has ruled out selling his star man. Gerrard said: "He's a top-class finisher. He comes alive in the box and at big times and big moments he has stepped up for us. So we're really pleased with him. All good players around the world receive interest and bids - that's football. I'll listen to what they have to say. I'll be respectful, but he's going nowhere and that's the message."

15 Year Old Gets Professional Contract With Celtic

Celtic have given Karamoko Dembele his first full-time professional contract at the age of just 15. Dembele joined the club 5 years ago as a 10 year old and is now tied to the reigning SPFL champions until 2021. Dembele said: "It means a lot to me to start my professional career at Celtic. I came here at a young age and, after all the stuff me and family have been through together, it'll be good to make them proud. My goal is to play for the first team. As soon as I can, I'm going to try to get into the first team, 100%. In the reserves, every training session, every game - it's all to prove myself to the manager that I can play in the first team."

Mickey Out For 6 Weeks

Arsenal will have to make do without Armenian international Henrikh Mkhitaryan's woeful first touch, useless runs and terrible passes for the next 6 weeks after the 29 year old suffered a broken foot. Mkhitaryan was taken off at half-time during the Carabao Cup defeat to bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur due to the fractured metatarsal in his right foot.

Flores Moves To China

Former Watford manager Quique Sanchez Flores has taken over at Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua, after being sacked by Espanyol in April. Flores follows in the footsteps of Gus Poyet, Nicolas Anelka and Howard Wilkinson, who have all managed the club.

French International Reaches Appearance 500

Four time winner of Ligue 1's Goalkeeper of the Year award and reigning World Cup champion Steve Mandanda has made his 500th appearance for Olympique de Marseille. Mandanda came through Le Havre's youth academy, but made his professional debut for Marseille and has been with them ever since. He is the first player ever to make 500 appearances for Marseille.

Lille Set Pepe Valuation

Nicolas Pepe has been linked with a move to the English Premier League and Lille's Luis Campos has now set the price they are willing to let the youngster go for. Campos said: "€80million (£72M). But [any club] will also have to convince the player."

Weah Set For Loan Move

George Weah's son Timothy is set to make a loan move away from Paris Saint-Germain this January, he has revealed on his social media page. Weah said: " just want to take the time to talk to everyone about the decision my family and I made about going on loan this winter. First of all, I want to thank the fans for their constant support, as well as the coaching staff and my team-mates, for keeping me in my mind and for me to always feel part of this family. These few months were great even though I did not play much, I was always grateful for the opportunities I had at the beginning of the season because it opened many doors for me this winter. Love you and I know you will go to the end and you will take the cup this year, god is with you all." It is believed he has dropped hints to his choice of move as the USA international has begun following Celtic players on Instatwit.

Dynamo Sign Defender

MLS side Houston Dynamo have signed Slovenian defender Aljaz 'Kiki' Struna from Palermo. The 28 year old is a full international who started in 6 of Slovenia's World Cup qualifying games. Struna had been with Palermo since 2012.
