Garcia Leaving Marseille

Olympique Marseille will be searching for a new manager in the summer after Rudi Garcia decided to leave the club at the end of the season. Marseille still have one more Ligue 1 match left to play but Garcia has decided it was time to go after they failed to qualify for the Champions League. Garcia said: "If I listened to my character and my determination I would stay, but if I listen to common sense and reason it's best to announce it now. We should have done better. We have a lot of players who were not at their best. The central core is a good representation of success for the future. It did not turn out as we wanted. The real big disappointment, and even humiliation, was our elimination against Andrezieux in the Coupe de France." Guingamp will also be in search of a new coach as Jocelyn Gourvennec after the club was relegated from Ligue 1.
