Contracts

Ross County midfielder Ross Draper has signed a new 2 year deal.

Dijon have handed 39 year old midfielder Florent Balmont a 1 year deal.

 

Transfers

Marseille centre-back Rolando has been released by the Ligue 1 club.

FC Schalke 04 have spent just over £2m to sign Ghanaian right winger Bernard Tekpetey from Paderborn.

SC Amiens have signed striker Serhou Guirassy from 1.FC Koln for just over £5m.

Austrian striker Lukas Hinterseer has joined Hamburg on a free transfer from VfL Bochum.

 

Keita In Guinea Squad

Liverpool's Naby Keita has been included in Guinea's provisional AFCON squad despite being currently injured. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed he is ahead of schedule in his recovery from a thigh injury which was expected to keep him out for 2 months and has included him in Liverpool's squad for the Champions League final.

Ireland Turn To Talbot

After Bournemouth keeper Mark Travers suffered a fractured thumb and withdrew from the Republic of Ireland squad for Euro 2020 qualifiers against Denmark and Gibraltar, Ireland have called up Bohemians keeper James Talbot to replace him. Talbot was the League of Ireland player of the month for April. Bristol City keeper Max O'Leary has also joined the squad though he is ineligible to play for the Republic until he obtains an Irish passport.

Celtic Win Treble Treble

Celtic have won their third consecutive domestic treble after beating Hearts 2-1 on Saturday in the Scottish Cup final. After the game caretaker manager Neil Lennon was offered the job on a permanent basis, though he has yet to confirm his acceptance of the role.

 

Tuchel Extends PSG Deal

Paris Saint-Germain have extended head coach Thomas Tuchel's contract until 2021 after being unable to get the replacement they wanted. PSG are looking to make an impact in the Champions League and once again failed, but Tuchel will get one more chance at leading the club in a European campaign. Tuchel said: "I'd like to thank the chairman and the whole club for their trust in me and my staff. This only reinforces my ambition to bring this team to the very top through hard work." According to the Financial Times, PSG might soon be joined in the Qatar Sports Investment stable by Leeds United as the FT has reported that QSI are in talks over buying a stake in the Championship club. Leeds are in talks with a number of potential investors as they look to fund a return to the Premier League.

 

Bayern At The Double

Bayern Munich have won their 12th domestic double with a 3-0 win over RB Leipzig in the German Cup final yesterday. They already won the Bundesliga the previous weekend. Both Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben made their final appearance for the German champions in the final. The match was live streamed for free on YouTube worldwide in a first for the German Cup final.

 

Barca Fail Once More

Valencia have beat Barcelona 2-1 in the Copa del Rey final to stop Ernesto Valverde's men from winning a domestic double. It was the first time Valencia head coach Marcelino has managed to beat Barcelona after 20 games without a win against the Catalans.
