Football News: Poyet's delight as Wickham signs contract extension at Sunderland.

Sunderland striker Connor Wickham has signed a new four-and-a-half-year deal at the Stadium of Light, contracting him to the club until the summer of 2019.
The England U21 international's contract was due to run out at the end of this season and he would have been able to speak to other clubs from January.
Wickham's manager on Wearside Gus Poyet said that he's "delighted that Connor has committed his future to us for the next few years".
