Contracts

German midfielder Adrian Fein has signed a new short term deal with Bayern Munich which expires at the end of the season.

Real Betis legend Joaquin has signed a new deal at the age of 38. The Spanish winger/full-back's contract will now expire in the summer of 2021.

Veteran striker Stephen Dobbie has extended his Queen of the South contract until 2021.

Middlesbrough defender Hayden Coulson has extended his deal until 2023.

Transfers

Nathaniel Phillips has returned to Liverpool from his loan spell with VfB Stuttgart.

Tottenham Hotspur have also recalled a trio from loan spells. Jack Clarke from Leeds United and Cameron Carter-Vickers from Stoke City have been brought back to Spurs alongside forward Kazaiah Sterling who was at Doncaster Rovers on loan.

Injury Round-Up

Jonathan Leko's loan spell with Charlton Athletic has ended early after the forward picked up an anterior cruciate ligament injury and he has returned to parent club West Bromwich Albion. Addicks manager Lee Bowyer said: "Jonathan is out for the rest of the season. It came from nothing - he jumped, landed, jolted his knee a bit and has done his ACL. He'll be out for the rest of the season, going into next season as well."

Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay has suffered suspected knee ligament damage in the win over Newcastle United.

Xhaka Set To Leave Arsenal

According to quotes being attributed to his agent Jose Noguera, Granit Xhaka is set to make every Arsenal fan happy by leaving to join Hertha Berlin, if a fee can be agreed. Swiss newspaper Blick is reporting that Noguera said: "I say this fairly and squarely: We agreed terms with Hertha BSC and would like to move to Berlin." Bild is reporting that Noguera told them: "The player already requested his release at club boss Raul Sanllehi and also told the Arsenal manager that he wants to leave the club. It only depends on the fee now."

Another Match Marred By Racism

Two were arrested in the away end due to alleged racism during Peterborough United's home match against Doncaster Rovers. Both clubs have said that they are working together with Cambridgeshire Police and Doncaster added: "We take a zero tolerance approach and would expect to issue a substantial club ban to anyone proven to have acted in such a manner."

Nazi Chant Match To Resume Behind Closed Doors

The Spanish second division match between Rayo Vallecano and Albacete, which was abandoned at half-time due to Rayo fans chanting that Albacete forward Roman Zozulya was a "Nazi", is to resume for the second half behind closed doors. The Spanish Football Federation also gave Rayo an 18,000 euro fine and a two-match partial stadium closure. It was the first time in Spanish football that a game was ever abandoned due to offensive chants.
