Macc Accept Bids For Club

The owner of financially troubled Macclesfield Town, Amar Alkadhi, has revealed that bids for the club have been "accepted in principle". A winding-up petition over an unpaid tax bill was adjourned (for the 10th time!) as lawyers acting for the club told the court that that club is being sold. A Macclesfield statement read: "Legally, I cannot divulge any further information on these as they are subject to non-disclosure agreements which I have to respect. Suffice to say that every effort is being made to conclude this process in a timely manner and that I will work tirelessly with everyone concerned until the sale is complete."
