Football News: Luiz admits Barca talks

Paris Saint Germain defender David Luiz has admitted that he also held talks with Barcelona during the summer, before sealing his move from Chelsea into French football.

"Everyone knows I spoke with Barca a lot, but I believe in God and in the end my fate did not see me embrace such a project."

The Brazilian international said, "my present and future is at a big club like PSG."

Luiz joined the Parc des Princes club in June for 50 million Euros, as PSG splashed the cash in order to build a team to compete in the Champions League.
