Injury Round-Up

Bayern Munich's Canadian wunderkind Alphonso Davies is expected to be fit to return to the team for the UEFA Super Cup match against Sevilla on Thursday. Robert Lewandowski and Leon Goretzka are slight doubts after picking up knocks in the 8-0 smashing of Schalke 04.

Managerial Changes

Disciplinary Charges

West Bromwich Albion manager Slaven Bilic faces a touchline ban after being sent off during the 5-2 beating at the hands of Everton. Bilic followed the referee at half-time to ask him why he did not check Everton's first goal for a foul in the build up. Despite clearly not swearing or being abusive, referee Mike Deane showed Bilic a red card and the Croat told the BBC: "The analysis guys told me it was a foul for us before their first goal. As a manager I should be in a situation to ask the referee what's going on. It's not like the game was going on, it was half-time - nobody was around. I didn't swear. I asked him in a frustrated way but I didn't go over the line. But he just ignored me and gave me red. As a manager you have that right if you are not crossing the line. I told him if you want to kill us, kill us. That's all."

Hands Off Ajer

Celtic manager Neil Lennon is unhappy about stories emerging in the media linking Kristoffer Ajer with a move to AC Milan. Lennon, who denied there had been any bids for the Norwegian, said: "It's disappointing on the day of the game that this comes out because that can unsettle a player. But I thought, particularly second half, he had a really strong game and we don't want to sell him. I'm not convinced £14m would cut it anyway."

English Teen Sets Bayern Record

Former Chelsea youngster Jamal Musiala has become the youngest ever goalscorer for Bayern Munich in their 8-0 thrashing of Schalke 04 on Friday evening. The attacker came on as a substitute and scored in the 81st minute to break Roque Santa Cruz's record with his first professional goal at the age of 17 years and 205 days.

Lewandowski's Former Agent Files Suit Against Him

Robert Lewandowski's former agent, Cezary Kucharski, has filed a civil suit against Lewandowski's marketing company RL Management in Warsaw. Kucharski is alleging that the footballers and his wife diverted several million euros from their marketing company to fund luxury vacations and interior decorating. Kucharski has filed for 39 million zloty (around 9m euros) in damages. Lewandowski told Spiegel that the allegations were "unfounded" and that Kucharski "simply could not get over the termination of their collaboration."
