R.I.P. Monster Monster

1990's football agent Eric Hall has passed away at the age of 73. Hall started out in the music business before a chance meeting in a nightclub with Tottenham Hotspur's Steve Perryman. He went on to represent players such as Dennis Wise, Neil Ruddock and Tim Sherwood, though is probably better known for his giant cigar and 'monster, monster' catchphrase.

Club World Cup

FIFA's Club World Cup will not be played in December this year due to the restrictions of Coronavirus, which has held up the resolution of continental championships. Instead the tournament will take place in Qatar from 1st to 11th February 2021. FIFA reported: "The Club World Cup Qatar 2020 has been subject to the disruptive effect on the confederations' continental club championships. The introduction of strict return-to-play protocols have facilitated a successful resumption of continental club championships, the last of which is now scheduled to conclude by the end of January 2021."
