Shrewsbury Town's manager Steve Cotterill was taken to hospital as his cv infection worsened on Friday. The 56 year old spent the weekend in intensive care but has now begun to recover, his assistant revealed to the BBC. Aaron Wilbraham told BBC Radio Shropshire: "I can tell he's getting better as he's begun to crack jokes. He's told me to tell the boys to say he'll be watching from his hospital bed, so they'd better be at it. We've really missed his energy around the place. He's been really poorly with it for the last two weeks and he was in intensive care over the weekend. But his voice now sounds a lot better."

The court ruled that the FFF should have taken account of Bastia's financial and accounting documents. Bastia were demoted to the 3rd tier of French football in 2017 due to their finances.
