Contracts
Forest Green Rovers have given defender Dominic Bernard a new contract which will expire in 2022.
Neil Warnock has extended his Middlesbrough deal until the end of next season.
Teenage wunderkind Jamal Musiala has signed a new contract with Bayern Munich that will expire in 2026.
Transfers
Juventus have completed the permanent signing of on-loan US international midfielder Weston McKennie from Schalke 04. Juve will pay an initial fee of 18.5m euros, with potential add-ons which could add another 6.5m euros to the fee.
Former Aston Villa and West Ham United midfielder Carlos Sanchez has signed for Watford.
Major League Soccer has seen a cross-border trade as Fredy Montero has moved to Seattle Sounders on a free transfer from Vancouver Whitecaps.
MLS side LA Galaxy have signed Derrick Williams from Blackburn Rovers on a free transfer.
Free agent winger Marlon Hairston has signed for Columbus Crew. Leaving Crew is teenage midfielder Sebastian Berhaller on loan to Austin FC on loan for a fee of £41,000.
Injury Round-Up
Cardiff City left-back Joe Bennett has suffered a knee injury which looks set to rule him out for the rest of the season. The 30 year old has suffered an ACL injury.
Southend United striker Nile Ranger has been ruled out for the rest of the season after just 12 minutes of his return to professional football. The 29 year old was released 3 years ago due to "recurring disciplinary issues" but had worked to get back into the sport, only to pick up a groin injury shortly after coming on as a substitute.
Managerial Changes
Jon Brady will stay in caretaker charge of Northampton Town for the rest of the season.
Disciplinary Charges
Forest Green Rovers and Colchester United have been charged by the FA for "failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion". Players from both sides clashed in the 45th minute of their league game last month.
Budapest Holds Both Legs
Liverpool's home leg of their Champions League clash with RB Leipzig will be played at Puskas Arena in Budapest, as was the 'away' leg. Both games had to be moved due to pandemic travel restrictions in Germany.
