Mansfield Town have awarded Jason Law and Tyrese Sinclair one-year contract extensions.

Former Southampton striker Manolo Gabbiadini has extended his deal with Sampdoria to 2026. Samp's goalkeeper Emil Audero has done the same.

Transfers

Free agent forward Calvin Andrew has signed a short-term deal with Barrow.

Inter Miami have agreed a deal to sign West Bromwich Albion left-back Kieran Gibbs in the summer when his Baggies deal ends.

Brazilian midfielder Danilo has joined Palmeiras on loan from OGC Nice.

Veteran Peruvian winger Jefferson Farfan has joined Allianza Lima on a free.

Inter Miami have paid £61,000 for Kelvin Leerdam from fellow MLS side Seattle Sounders.

Borussia Moenchengladbach's Swedish left-back Oscar Wendt has agreed a deal to sign IFK Gothenborg neat summer.

Brentford goalkeeper Simon Andersson has signed for IF Elfsborg.

Injury Round-Up

Exeter City are likely to be without young winger Joel Randall for the rest of the season with a hamstring injury.

Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood has withdrawn from England Under-21 duty due to injury.

Atletico Madrid forward Moussa Dembele fainted during training on Tuesday. The 24-year-old Frenchman will now undergo medical tests.

Germany midfielder Toni Kroos has pulled out of the internationals to return to Real Madrid with an adductor injury.

Managerial Changes

Following the sacking of Richie Wellens as Salford City boss, Gary Bowyer has been appointed in his place until the end of the season. Bowyer is Derby County's under-23s boss and will return to that role once the season ends. Wellens took charge less than five months ago and won the Papa John's Trophy last week.

Preston North End have sacked Alex Neil after he managed them to just one win in the last nine Championship matches. Their defeat at home to Luton Town was their third loss in a row.

Former Newcastle United winger Stephen Glass has taken charge at Aberdeen. The 44 year old was head coach of Atlanta United 2 until the Dons came knocking. Glass began his playing career with Aberdeen.

Cesare Prandelli has quit as Fiorentina manager. The 63 year old explained: "This is the second time I've left Fiorentina. The first time was not my decision, but this time it is. In life, as well as the good times, there are also dark moments which can get on top of you. I have been going through a period of profound distress which is preventing me from being who I really am. I began this experience with joy and love, spurred on by the enthusiasm of the new owners. It's likely that that my love for the city, and the memories of the great moments I've experienced here, made me blind to the early signs that something wasn't right inside. My decision has been guided by the enormous responsibility I have towards the players, the club and - last but certainly not least - to the Fiorentina fans, for whom I have great respect. Over the past few months, a dark cloud has developed inside of me, changing the way I see things. I came here to give 100%, but I now feel that this is no longer possible and therefore I have decided to step back for the good of everyone involved."

Bayer Leverkusen have sacked Peter Bosz and replaced him with Hannes Wold as their new head coach. Wolf was managing Germany's Under-18s.

Disciplinary Charges

Barnsley have been ordered to pay Hull City nearly £1m after they failed to disclose medical information during the transfer of Angus MacDonald in January 2018. A tribunal ruled that Barnsley had failed to reveal that the defender had been suffering with symptoms that "could have affected his fitness and ability to play professional football for Hull City even if some were more serious than others". The 28 year old was found to have bowel cancer the year after the transfer.

Scunthorpe United captain Jordan Clarke's red card against Southend United has been overturned.

Bayern Munich's Canadian full-back Alfonso Davies has been suspended for two games for his red card against VfB Stuttgart.

Belize Held Up In Haiti

An armed gang intercepted the Belize national team bus as it was taking the squad to their hotel in Haiti from the airport. The masked gang were on motorbikes and armed with assault rifles and the team's police escort were forced to negotiate to let the team pass through. A Belize Football Federation statement read: "The Football Federation of Belize takes this time to express its disappointment and disgust at an unfortunate incident faced by the Jaguars as the team was headed from the airport to the hotel in Haiti. Despite the four-man police escort, the team bus was stopped by an uproar of insurgents with assault rifles on motorcycles and police escorts were forced to negotiate with them for the team bus to continue its journey to the hotel. We are pleased to report that our Jaguars, although shaken by the terrible experience, are safely at their hotel."

Another Legend Gone

Legendary former England striker and hellraiser Frank Worthington has passed away at the age of 72. Worthington began his career with Huddersfield Town before joining Leicester City. Known for his flamboyance, both on and off the pitch, Worthington got just 8 England caps despite his ability deserving many more. After his retirement from playing, he went on to have a career as a much sought after dinner speaker, who could light up the room with his tales of football in his time. RIP.

Email Mix-Up Sees Bayern Forward Miss Out

A basic error with emails has seen Cameroon fail to call up Bayern Munich's Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting for the forthcoming AFCON qualifiers. According to Bild the Cameroon federation accidentally addressed the email calling the 31-year-old up to themselves, instead of to Bayern to inform them. Choupo-Moting's father told Naja TV: "I was contacted by the association to find out what was going on. I contacted FC Bayern and they confirmed that they had not received the invitation. It looks like she sent it to the wrong email address instead. For me, that's a lack of professionalism. When sending invitations, be sure to send them to the correct address. If that doesn't happen, I don't understand why it's the club's or Maxim's fault."
