Contracts

Simon Eastwood has extended his Oxford United deal until 2024.

Transfers

Stoke City goalkeeper Josef Bursik has joined Peterborough United on an emergency loan.

It has been confirmed that West Ham United will make the loan signing of defender Craig Dawson a permanent deal at the end of the season. The 30-year-old is currently a Watford player, but made 15 Premier League appearances to trigger a clause in the loan deal which makes the deal a long-term one.

Atlanta United have spent £2.29m on bringing Argentine centre-back Alan Franco to Major League Soccer from Independiente.

Also in MLS, LA Galaxy have paid their third-highest ever transfer fee to sign young winger Kevin Cabral from Valenciennes of Ligue 2 in France. £4.5m was enough to secure the 21-year-old's services.

Injury Round-Up

Exeter City defender Sam Stubbs' knee injury is almost certain to rule him out for the rest of the season.

Social Media Boycott

Following from another week with more racist abuse thrown at footballers on social media, three clubs have agreed to boycott social media for a week. Swansea City were the first to announce the boycott, which will extend to all first team, academy side and women's team players and staff, plus also the club's official accounts. They have three players who have been racially abused over the last couple of months. Scottish champions Rangers joined the boycott quickly afterwards and now Birmingham City has also decided to stand with the pair.

Fans Set Up Newcastle Buyout Fund

Newcastle United Supporters Trust (NUST) has launched a fund called The 1892 Pledge, with the intent of buying a stake in the club, if Mike Ashley does sell up. A NUST statement explained: "NUST aims to build a pot of money that can either give supporters a small share of the club if it is sold while in the Premier League or see fans ready to step in to help save the club in the event of relegation and the financial consequences that could see a change of ownership."
