Luton Town midfielder Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu has signed a new deal.

Gary Gardner has signed a new contract with Birmingham City.

Norwich City have given their captain Grant Hanley a new contract which runs until 2025.

Transfers

Watford forward Tiago Cukur has signed for Doncaster Rovers on a season-long loan.

Leyton Orient have signed Tom James from Hibernian.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have loaned young defender Dion Sanderson to Birmingham City.

Cillian Sheridan has signed for Dundee on a free transfer from Wisla Plock.

Livingston have signed Andrew Shinnie from Charlton Athletic on a free transfer.

Celta de Vigo have loaned Uruguayan forward Gabriel Fernandez to FC Juarez.

Italian right-back Nadir Zortea has joined Salernitana from fellow Serie A side Atalanta on loan.

AC Milan have paid a £2.7m loan fee for Brahim Diaz from Real Madrid.

Troyes have released Stone Mambo.

RFC Seraing of the Belgian Jupiler Pro League have taken Youssef Maziz on loan from FC Metz.

LASK Linz of Austria's Bundesliga have signed Dario Maresic on loan from Stade Reims.

RSC Anderlecht have sold young midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga to Arsenal for £15.75m.

FC Basel have signed Swiss right back Michael Lang from Borussia Moenchengladbach.

VfB Stuttgart have paid £2.7m for Chris Fuhrich from SC Paderborn.

Injury Round-Up

Luton Town's assistant manager Mick Harford is having a break from the job while receiving treatment for prostrate cancer.

A CV outbreak at Blackpool has forced them to call off their friendly with Rangers.

Managerial Changes

Former Barnsley CEO Dane Murphy has been appointed to the same role at Nottingham Forest.

Disciplinary Charges

Derby County have asked the English Football League to relax its transfer embargo as they have just 9 registered senior players, two of them goalkeepers. They are unable to sign players to reach the 23 players of 'professional standing' the EFL rules would normally allow as they have more than enough players within youth and under-23 teams that meet the criteria having made a single first-team appearance in a competitive game. Not sure why Rooney is unable to make do with youth players like many lower league teams have to do every week. Perhaps stop whining and try managing?

The arbitration hearing over Newcastle United's takeover has been adjourned until early next year after "issues with the disclosure of evidence".

The Football Association is to investigate the scenes surrounding Wembley Stadium ahead of the Euro 2020 final, the same scenes both they and Wembley claimed never happened.

Everton have suspended a first team player over a police investigation at the same time as police reveal a Premier League football has been arrested over child sex offences.
