The Mauritius Football Association and local police are investigating after it was discovered that someone was recording video footage of the women's toilets. A mobile phone in video recording mode was discovered hidden in a basket about the toilet water tank by an administrative secretary on 30th July. After the Mauritius FA failed to act, she then reported the matter to the police on 10th August.
Brazilian defender Marcao was sent off on Monday after headbutting and punching his Galatasaray team-mate Muhammed Kerem Akturkoglu. The pair seemed to exchange words, followed by winger Akturkoglu putting his finger to his lips in a shushing gesture. Defender Marcao then ran from his own half and headbutted the winger, before throwing a flurry of punches at him before other team-mates were able to restrain them. Despite the red card, Gala still managed to beat Giresunspor 2-0.
