Disciplinary Charges

The Football Association are investigating a pitch invasion by Oldham Athletic fans following their 2-1 defeat by Colchester United. They invaded to protest against the running of the club which sees Oldham sat bottom of League Two after four defeats from four.

The SPFL and Rangers sponsorship row has been put on hold for the moment after Rangers chairman Douglas Park won a court interdict. The SPFL had put the issue to the SFA for arbitration, but had excluded Park's of Hamilton, the company whose contract with Rangers is at the heart of the row. The Court of Session decided that excluding Park's went against SFA's own rules.

Rangers have issue indefinite length bans to fans identified as being seen in a video chanting a racist song about Celtic's Japanese striker Kyogo Furuhashi. The supporters club, whose bus the footage was filmed on and that supplied their tickets, has been banned from receiving any further tickets.

OGC Nice will have to keep the Popular South stand closed for four matches after their match against Olympique Marseille had to be abandoned. Nice fans had continuously pelted Marseille players with plastic bottles during the game, until Dmitri Payet was hit on the back of the had by one, which he threw back into the crowd. That led to a mass brawl between players, coaching staff and fans, as fans swarmed out of control onto the pitch. Marseille players, some of whom were injured and, according to Marseille, bear strangle marks on their necks, refused to go back and finish off the match, leading to its abandonment. Just one man was arrested. Two weeks ago Marseille's match against Montpellier was marred as both Marseille player Valentin Rongier and Montpellier's Florent Mollet were hit by bottles thrown from the crowd.

Prem Clubs Block International Players

A number of English Premier League clubs have blocked their players from being called up by their national teams during the next international window. Those players who would be going to countries on the 'red-list' are being refused permission to go unless there is a quarantine exemption.
