Hull City have taken Allahyar Sayyadmanesh on loan from Fenerbahce.

RCD Mallorca have paid a loan fee of £990,000 to take Vedat Muriqi on loan from Lazio.

Veteran forward Goran Pandev has signed for Parma from Genoa.

Everton have completed the loan signing of Donny van de Beek from Manchester United.


Managerial Changes

Frank Lampard has agreed to replace Rafael Benitez and become Everton's new manager. He has been out of work since being sacked by Chelsea a year ago. The 43-year-old has been given a 2-and-a-half-year deal.

Lee Johnson has been sacked by Sunderland following their 6-0 thrashing at the hands of Bolton Wanderers at the weekend. They are just 2 points off top spot following the loss.

Bromley manager Andy Woodman has rejected an approach from League One's Gillingham. The Gills had been given permission to speak to Woodman by the National League side to replace Steve Evans, who left on 9th January. Gillingham have instead appointed Neil Harris, the former Millwall and Cardiff City manager.

Tunisia have sacked their head coach Mondher Kebaier after they were put out of the AFCON at the quarter-final stage. Burkina Faso beat them 1-0, a team 30 places below them in the FIFA world rankings. Assistant coach Jalel Kadri is stepping up to replace him.


Disciplinary Charges

Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood has been arrested on suspicion of rape and assault of his girlfriend after a series of pictures, videos and audio files were released on social media. He has been suspended by the club until further notice and chief sponsors Nike have also suspended their relationship with the player. Police have been granted more time to hold him for questioning.


Olembe To Host Final

Despite the crush outside that killed 8 people and injured 38 more, the Olembe Stadium will be holding both a semi-final and the final of the Africa Cup of Nations. A Confederation of African Football statement read: "Having noted the recommendations and undertakings from government in regard to additional security provisions, the Caf organising committee unanimously agreed to lift the suspension imposed on the Olembe Stadium. In conclusion, Caf, the local organising committee and the government of Cameroon, having significantly increased security and resources at the Olembe Stadium, are confident that the safety and security of spectators and visitors will be assured." The semi-final between host nation Cameroon and Egypt will be played there on Thursday before the final on Sunday.


Legend To Play In Pub League

A pub team in Shropshire have won a raffle to earn the services of legendary Brazilian left-back Roberto Carlos for a game. The 48-year-old will be a substitute for a match in February in the Shrewsbury & District league after the Bull in the Barne team paid £5 for a ticket in the online raffle. All a long way from Real Madrid where he won three Champions Leagues and four La Liga titles, on top of his 2002 World Cup win with Brazil.
