Contracts
Tottenham Hotspur have given Oliver Skip a new long term deal which will run out in 2027.
Huesca winger Joaquin Munoz has extended his contract until 2025.
Teenage defender Diego Coppola has signed up with Hellas Verona until 2027.
Bono has been tied down by Sevilla until 2025.
Chicago Fire of Major League Soccer have given teenage goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina a deal which expires at the end of 2023.
Bayer Leverkusen keeper Niklas Lomb has signed up until 2024.
Veteran Crawley Town defender Tony Craig has signed a deal which will keep him at Creepy until 2024. Also extending with Crawley until then is Joel Lynch, Jack Payne, Kwesi Appiah, Jake Hessenthaler and George Francomb.
Former Chelsea right-back Juan Cuadrado has signed a 1-year contract extension to take him up until the end of next season with Juventus.
Gary Madine has signed a new one-year deal with an option for a further year with Blackpool.
Transfers
Portugese midfielder Tiago Rodrigues has been released by Russian Premier Liga side Ufa.
Ibrahim Kane has joined Qingdao Hainiu on a free transfer from Vorskla Poltava.
Injury Round Up
Borussia Dortmund goalie Gregor Kubel is a doubt to face Bayern Munich on Saturday after injuring himself in training.
Managerial Changes
HIbernian sacked Shaun Maloney after just 4 months in charge. The former Celtic midfielder was appointed on 20th December 2021 but was unable to lead the club to the top 6 in the SPFL and so was dismissed by chairman Ron Gordon. Former Hibs captain David Gray has been appointed as caretaker manager.
Keith Lasley is leaving his role as Motherwell assistant manager in May to become St Mirren's chief operating officer. The role is a new role which was created following the retirement of their CEO Tony Fitzpatrick.
Arminia Bielfeld have sacked head coach Frank Kramer as they attempt to survive in the Bundesliga. Assistant coach Ilia Gruev has also been fired and Marco Kostmann has taken over as head coach until the end of the season.
Disciplinary Charges
Olympique Marseille fans have been banned from attending the Ligue 1 match against Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday. In order to stop them attending, the French Interior Ministry has put a 24-hour travel ban in place to keep Marseille fans from travelling north to the Parc des Princes. PSG are currently top of Ligue 1, 12 points ahead of second-placed Marseille.
Ukraine Invasion
Arteta Apologises To Nketiah
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has said that he "has not been fair" on young striker Eddie Nketiah. The 22-year-old has struggled to get into the starting line up this season, scoring twice against Chelsea, his previous club at academy level, in just his second start of the season in the Premier League. Nketiah has admitted his frustration with a lack of game time and questioned his future with the Gunners. The forward is out of contract in the summer and Arteta said of him: "I should have been playing him more, I said to him I haven't been fair."
