Injury Round Up

Managerial Changes

AFC Wimbledon's interim manager Mark Bowen has left the job at Plough Lane to take a job in a higher division. Bowen has previously coached at Queens Park Rangers and Reading.

Disciplinary Charges

Nigeria's football federation has been ordered to pay former national manager Gernot Rohr over £300,000 in compensation for sacking him. They had offered to pay his salary until the end of his contract but Rohr went to FIFA to demand compensation for breach of contract without just cause. Rohr had been seeking $1m but instead was granted $377,879.46.

Rams Bidder Given Time

Chris Kirchner's bid for ownership of Derby County has been given an extension to his period of exclusivity. Administrators Quantuma have extended the completion date until 14th May due to difficulties in sorting out the stadium with former Derby owner Mel Morris. Morris still owns the stadium and, despite his time in charge resulting in the Rams financial difficulties due to his attempts to circumvent FFP rules, the former owner has proved a difficult customer to deal with. Derby City Council have stepped in to try and push through a deal by buying the ground themselves, but so far nothing has been finished.
