Gerrard will once again come face to face with the man who took advantage of his slip in last season's Premier League game against Chelsea, as Liverpool draw Demba Ba's Besiktas in the Europa League.

Celtic drew Inter Milan, Spurs got themselves another Italian giant in Fiorentina, while Everton got what, on the face of it, looks an easier draw with BSC Young Boys of Berne.
