Ander Herrera was today named in a list of 41 potential players, staff and coaches potentially involved in match fixing allegation into a La Liga match between former side Real Zaragoza and Levante in 2011.
However Manchester United midfield ace Herrera took to his facebook page to deny any involvement in match fixing.
Herrera said "In an on-going legal process involving Real Zaragoza (Spain), the club I was honoured to play from 12 until 22 years of age, there are 41 people mentioned, of which I am one. I have never had and will never have anything to do with manipulating match results.
If I am ever called to testify in any judicial hearing, I'll be happy to attend, as my conscience is totally clear.
I love football and I believe in fair play, both on and off the pitch"
Swansea City midfielder Jefferson Montero has also been named on the list but so far the welsh side have declined to comment.
Heart of Midlothain midfielder, Miguel Pallardo is named on the list alongside former Celtic, Chelsea and Birmingham City midfielder Jiri Jarosik.
