Doneil Henry, the Toronto FC academy product, is closing in on a move to English Premier League high fliers West Ham United.
The 21 year old left Toronto to join Apollon Limassol in January 2014, only to be loaned straight back to Toronto for the 2014 MLS season.
The young defender already has 14 caps for Canada, and spent last winter training with the Hammers during the MLS offseason.
Henry, who can play at centre back and right back, is now awaiting a work permit to sign for the East London team, as the transfer fee and personal terms have already been agreed.
His work permit hearing will be on Monday.
