Everton Player Ratings v Manchester United
Pickford - 10:
Some amazing saves, commanded his box well, and his distribution today was better than it has been in weeks. But because he's got "little arms" apparently, he'll never get any credit. Standard.
Coleman - 6:
A shame for him, but sadly predictable.
Tarkowski - 8:
Dominant as usual. An absolute rock tonight. Doesn't get enough credit for how consistently reliable he is.
Keane - 9:
I'm no fan of his and he was awful before the sending off because he was being lazy. But after that? He turned into a machine and blocked absolutely everything. Massive response.
Mykolenko - 8:
Another one I'm no fan of, but he was really solid tonight. Tough assignment against Mbeumo but handled him well.
Gana - 4:
What a silly man. We were playing well before he got himself sent off, and he could've completely ruined the game for us. His teammates bailed him out. Still a class player, but tonight wasn't it. With his experience, he should know better.
Garner - 9:
Still prefer him at right back due to our issues elsewhere, but he ran the whole game today. Had to compete with aggressive, energetic players but still dictated everything. Really hope he signs a new contract.
N'Diaye - 8:
Not the most impressive going forward, but his work rate was superb and he's always a reliable option to receive the ball.
Dewsbury-Hall - 10:
Another who ran the game. Got the winning goal, led by example, chased everything, and didn't put a foot wrong all night. Exactly the type of Everton performance we expect.
Grealish - 7.5:
Even less impactful going forward than N'Diaye, but his work rate was insane. People labelled him a luxury player in the past, but his effort since joining has been immense. Absolutely love him.
Barry - 9:
Dominated in the air against three centre-backs. Was isolated all game, especially after the sending off, but still won everything. Led the line perfectly, kept the ball well, ran his socks off. Complete performance. I know some don't rate him, but his first goal is coming and it's going to be special. Big believer in him.
O'Brien - 8:
Came on and completely shut down Diallo and Dorgu. Such a smart signing. Solid defender and a genuine goal threat too. Not the quickest on the turn, but in a straight sprint he's ridiculously fast for someone that big and clumsy-looking.
Iroegbunam - 8:
Also not usually a fan, but he came on and cleared everything, blocked everything, and generally caused chaos. What a cameo.
Beto - 6:
Came on, ran around, stopped a counter. That's Beto.
McNeil - 7:
Made himself a nuisance.
Alcaraz - 6.5:
Hello handsome. So good to see you again.
Fantastic performance overall.
I'll hold my hands up - I was wrong about Moyes tonight. Expected him to go to Old Trafford and be negative, but he went for it from the first whistle. Fair play. That's why he's a football genius.
