Football News: German team change hotel to avoid horde of Russian models

German side MSV Duisburg changed their plans for their warm weather training camp in Turkey after finding out that they would be sharing their hotel with a swarm of models.

The 3rd division side were set to stay in a hotel in Antalya that was set to house 400 Russian models there for a beauty contest.

A statement on the club's website read: 'We want to calmly prepare for the spring series. MSV team manager Michael Meier has therefore rescheduled.'

The club will now stay at the Royal Holiday Palace, instead of the Hotel Royal Wings, just down the road from the models they are hoping to avoid.
