Football News: FIFA set 3rd party ban date

FIFA have set the date of May 1st for the end of all third party ownership in football.

They announced an intention to do so back in September, and have now set the date for it all to end totally.

Existing agreements will be honoured, and new agreements can still be signed between now and May 1st, but new agreements are to be for no more than a 1 year term.

Third party ownership was already banned in England and France, but countries like Brazil have relied on the practice to keep their best players, such as Neymar, in the country.
