Barcelona have released a video to mark the retirement of their ex-player Eric Abidal. After a glittering career in which he made a total of 445 appearances as well as winning seven league titles, three Lique 1 titles with Lyon and a further four La Liga titles with Barcelona, as well as two champions league trophies with the Catalan giants.




The 67 times capped Frenchman was diagnosed with liver cancer in 2011 but amazingly still managed to continue his playing career into his mid-thirties, playing for Monaco and then finally Olympiacos following his exit from the Nou Camp in 2013.
