Football News: Former Chelsea powerhouse in talks with Turkish side

Trabzonspor are in talks with former Real Madrid midfielder Michael Essien.

The Ghana international is currently on the books of AC Milan, where the former Chelsea star has made 8 appearances this season.

"We have had contact from a couple Premier League clubs. We also have received an offer from Trabzonspor," Piveteau stated.

"In fact, we have also met with Trabzonspor several times. Essien is currently a AC Milan player but we do not know what the future will hold."
