Football News: Hart signs new Man City contract

Manchester City's England keeper Joe Hart has signed a new contract with the club.

The £600,000 signing from Shrewsbury Town went through a tough time last season, losing his place to Costel Pantilimon, who is now at Sunderland.

The 27 year old managed to re-establish himself as City number one this season, despite the new competition from Willy Caballero, the free signing from Malaga.

Hart joins Sergio Aguero, Edin Dzeko, Aleksandr Kolarov, Samir Nasri and David Silva in committing himself long term to the Abu Dhabi owned club.
