Football News: Lyon star wants Arsenal move

Gilles Grimandi's powers of persuasion have been at work on Olympique Lyonnaise attacking midfielder Nabil Fekir.

The 21 year old Manchester City target has starred this season for Lyon, and his father has been discussing his future.

Speaking to La Parisien, Fekir's father has now said "Nabil would like to finish 1st or 2nd and play Champions League football with Lyon.

"If he leaves, it will be for Arsenal. It is the only club that can enable him to progress, with Arsène Wenger.

"He will not go to Manchester City to sit on the bench."

The only question now seems to be if Wenger will make a move for Fekir in January.
