Football News: Pochettino looks to stengthen in January

Tottenham Hotspur manager, Mauricio Pochettino is looking to link up with former players Morgan Schneiderlin and Jay Rodriguez from Southampton. Schneiderlin looked to try and force his way out of Southampton during the summer transfer window but has been a key player in the impressive start to the season Southampton have made, while striker Rodriguez is currently making his way back to fitness after serious injury ruled the ex-Burnley man out of the World Cup.

Tottenham have also been linked with defenders during the January window and are at present being credited with an interest in Spanish defender Raul Albiol from Napoli and Celtic's Dutch defender Virgil Van Dyke.
