Football News: The Magic Of The Cup

So far The FA Cup this season has been fantastic for the giant killers - Warrington Town's win over Exeter started things off in the First round and then Southport overcoming Dagenham and Redbridge after a replay,also Aldershot doing the same to knock out former winners Portsmouth.

The Second round started equally as impressive for Blyth Spartans a team who already have romance etched in the trophy of this grand old competition with a 2-1 victory away at near neighbours Hartlepool bringing back the memories of their run to the Fifth round in the Seventies - Wrexham eased past Maidstone 3-1 also joining these unlikely visitors in the Third round are Gateshead,Dover,Southport,Worcester City and Chester who would need to overcome league one Barnsley.

Now just as all the football experts were sat at home ready to lambaste the choice of game the TV stations would choose as in previous years the Third round only came up trumps - Blyth Spartans v Birmingham - Dover v C Palace - Wimbledon v Liverpool - Accrington/Yeovil v Manchester Utd.
They will be shown won't they ?
