Football News: Chesterfield charged

A twist in Chesterfield's cup run this year.

The FA have charged the Derbyshire club with fielding an ineligible player in their victory away at MK Dons in the 2nd round - the player in question is Georg Margreitter - written permission from Wolverhampton Wanderers was not forwarded to the FA by Chesterfield even though the club say they had a verbal agreement.

Chesterfield have until 5pm 11th December to reply to the charge.
