Football News: Madrid breaking records again
Current UEFA Champions League holders Real Madrid have set a marker down for the season, breaking a record they held jointly with Barcelona previously.
Their 4-0 win over Ludogorets set a Spanish record for consecutive victories in the competition with 19 wins in a row, following their six wins in the group stages this season.
They have now won every game since a 2-1 defeat against Atletico Madrid in the Primera Liga in September.
Ronaldo scored again, his 72nd Champions League goal, putting him 2nd behind Lionel Messi in the all-time scorers list.
Only 5 times before has a team won all 6 group stage games, Real Madrid themselves, Barcelona, Paris Saint Germain, AC Milan and Spartak Moscow, none of those teams went on to win the competition that season.
