Football News: Scottish transfer window extended into February.

Scottish clubs will have more time to recruit players this winter after the SPFL and Scottish FA agreed the transfer window will close on February 2 2015.

The January window's traditional 31st January deadline 31 falls on a Saturday next year but the latest decision means teams will be able to register players until midnight on Monday evening.

Extending the deadline brings Scotland into line with other major European leagues who have also extended their window.
